General Rules & Regulations

  1. Competitors may enter any class in which they are eligible. HOWEVER, THE BOARD PREFERS THAT STUDENTS ENTER AT OR ABOVE  THEIR CURRENT LEVEL OF STUDY. The same entry form will be used for all classes entered. In classes with an age limit, ages are based as of January 1, 2018.
  2. Unless otherwise stated, selections MUST be memorized. If music is referred to during the performance, adjudication will be given but NO MARK will be awarded.

  11. All candidates must be prepared to announce the piece of music that they intend to perform in a clear and audible voice. The student must also name the composer of the work to be performed.
